Born and raised in the neighborhood, I have seen many pizza businesses stay for along time or quickly close. We have our staples that have been here for many years and Cestras is on that track. We have Franks, Tommy's, and Louie and Ernies as big staples but Cestra's can hold their own in the lions den of pizza :) I really appreciate their service for dine in -- it's casual but helpful and efficient. You really can't ask for more from a pizzeria. I have countlessly ordered delivery from them because they are the best pizza place that will deliver to me. I always find that ordering an entire pie is better than individual slices but they are both good. I ordered the chicken caesar salad wrap once and while it was tasty -- I was disappointed to see that the wrap was whole wheat without me asking for it. Not sure if thats what they normally use but I just won't order it again. OR make sure to ask for a white flour wrap.

Was visiting from Florida and my niece got me some Pizza cause she said it was really good! It did not disappoint I even got the beef patty with cheese yum!!! Will definitely go again when I visit!

I had the cheese pizza slices ! Bomb ! We also orders the minestrone soup tomato base with the cheesy garlic bread both are chefs kiss delicious! Will definitely be going back!

This small gem in the Bronx, omg. My first time here and I am glad I came here with my wife whom is a very picky eater. We loved it, one of the best slices we had in a long time.5/5 very recommended and cheap

Wow I wow wow. I want to wear Cestra's pizza grease dripping down my wrist like a badge of honor. I had a meat lovers pizza and it cradled me. While I was waiting to order I noticed that they had a chicken Caesar salad pizza and there was a woman who was getting one; she said that it's now the only thing that she even gets from there any more. Their crust is chewy crusty deliciousness it tastes like what pizza standards used to be when there were standards. As for my Sicilian slice the cheese tastes amazing it actually has its own flavor you can taste each devoted component of this pizza the sauce is perfect, the crust crusty and cariño cheese ican stand on its own. Some time and love was put into this. Thank you all!!

I Just had to give a shout out. Our go to take out place. I'd say hands down the best of everything. Staff, food, and speed of arrival. Please do support all small business.

Always yummy the food from Cestra's never disappoints. It is one of the few places where a grilled chicken salad isn't just lettuce and grilled chicken, it's olives, red onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and yummy dressing! Their pizza is cheesy, crispy, and flavorful. Their soups are also quite delish. They are currently providing takeout and delivery, support this business during the difficult times, you'll be glad you did!
